What kind of rubbed me the wrong way is how Nate and Mase always seems to gang up to keep Logan in the dark. He is and probably always will be the fun, cocky, sexy guy-slut with a sensitive and dangerous side few people know of. Mason and Sam are probably my favourite book couple ever, and I’m so freaking glad Tijan just le their relationship play out and not turn it into a dramatic love triangle, as seems to be the case in most romantic book series. A lot more Mason and a lot more like FCH. Luckily it got less depression towards the second half. She’s just a terrible person and I don’t understand how anyone can stand to be in the same room as her, let alone how James can love her. I think it’s safe to say no one ever liked her, but I really, truly wanted to wring her neck. Sam was acting weird and you didn’t know why and Analise. The first bit of the book was frusrating. I get why, don’t get me wrong, and seeing the trauma she’s only now remembering, no doubt I would’ve handled it way worse, but still, it was a surprise. Whereas in FCH she really didn’t care about what people thought, now she was a bit sobby. I thought it’d be a lot like FCH, with a lot of badassness and school/gang rivalry, but instead there was a lot of emotional stuff and Sam was. It wasn’t at all how I expected it to be, which is probably a good thing, since I hate that shit, but it was still weird.

If I hadn’t read Fallen Crest High, I would’ve either loved or hated Fallen Crest Family, but now I don’t know how to feel.

If she doesn’t, Mason’s future could be destroyed. However, when a trauma from her past is triggered, she may not have the courage or strength to do what’s needed. Even blackmail is used, but only Samantha can put a stop to Analise. While Mason’s ready to give them the middle finger, there’s one not going away.
